Our Dr David Farrington has been surfboat rowing for nine consecutive years and just can’t seem to stop! It all started when he moved to the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney for Dental School. Initially signing up at Bronte, where he stayed for around three years, then North Bondi for around 5 years, and most recently New Port.

Surfboat rowing has become a very popular sport. The majority of Australian beaches have at least one team. It can require travelling up and down the coast for competitions, and occasionally to Perth.
