No, teeth whitening does not whiten composite resin fillings or crowns. Hence before any cosmetic work we recommend a course of whitening.

At Pymble Dental practice we recommend being at least 17 years of age. Teeth whitening is safe, but the younger the patient, the more sensitive the teeth are during the procedure.

Current evidence is unclear on the safety of teeth whitening during pregnancy. Due to this we recommend erring on the side of safety and waiting until the baby arrives!
