What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is an orthodontic system that uses a series of clear, patented plastic aligners to straighten teeth. They are suitable for adults of all ages, as well as teenagers.
How does it work?

Once deemed suitable; photos, impressions and measurements are recorded to devise a treatment plan. This information is sent to Invisalign in California to engineer a treatment protocol which straightens the teeth with clear plastic overlay aligners, similar to a bleaching tray in thickness. A virtual video, called a ‘clincheck’, is devised to illustrate the results from start to finish. The patient changes aligners every two weeks, wearing the aligners at all times except for cleaning and eating

How long does it take?
Depending on the goal, Invisalign takes anywhere from 20 weeks to two years.

Will it work for me?
Invisalign can be an extremely powerful treatment, alone, or as part of a treatment plan involving other cosmetic dental treatments such as veneers, crowns or whitening.
However, there are some orthodontic situations that require more than alignment. Sometimes, a referral to a specialist orthodontist for a combination of full fixed braces or even surgery may be required. We are well trained and experienced to recognise these situations.
